The sources also indicate that the device will have to be connected to a smartphone wireless, and that unlike other models such as Google Glass will be designed to look like conventional glasses so they can be carried comfortably and without attracting attention.
These new glasses would not be the only devices with Alexa according to internal sources of the Financial Times. According to the media, Amazon is also considering expanding its line of smart home devices with a new Internet camera system connected to the Internet, which will be associated with the Echo to allow you to see on the Echo Show screens video feed from their cameras.
Considering Amazon’s bad experience with its Fire Phone it seems very risky to launch now into the market of the wereables. However, it is a necessary step to continue to boost Alexa against a competition present in more and more types of devices. We will have to wait for new information to see in which direction they are moving.
