What does ME³ stand for? ME³ stands for "Motivate, Educate, Empower, and Engage", and refers to our goals to motivate, educate, empower, and engage the public to make a difference in the community and the world overall. More about our mission can be found here.
How many paid staff members does ME³ have? ME³ is an all-volunteer organization and has no paid staff members at this time.
How many volunteers work with ME³? A group of 7 to 13 volunteers work with us on a regular basis, including members of the Board of Directors, to carry out the administrative tasks that keep the organization running as well as lead and conduct our projects and programs. Through various service projects and efforts we have worked with or connected over 200 volunteers.
If I wanted to donate to ME³, would my donation be tax-exempt? Yes. ME³ is an official 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Our tax ID is 20-3057526. We can be found at Guidestar under the name "M E 3".
How can I get involved with ME³? Our up-to-date volunteer needs are regularly posted here. Also, individuals are able to sign up to volunteer for a variety of organizations in Wake County through our Communities In Action program.
Does ME³ normally provide fundraising help and services? While we have assisted in the fundraising efforts of some organizations in the past, this is not one of the services we offer. However, if you are a non-profit organization in need of volunteers, we encourage you to check out our Communities In Action program.
Is ME³ affiliated with any other organization? We are not officially affiliated with any other organization locally or nationally. However, we have had the pleasure of working with groups such as Triangle Impact, KidsConnect, and the Volunteer Center of Durham in the past and hope to again in the future.
