Volunteer Spotlight, August 2008
Allison Legge is our Spotlight CIA Agent and Volunteer this month for Communities In Action!
Allison is from New York City, and moved to NC to start her PhD in English at UNC. Allison is a
writer by trade, and currently works for admissions at UNC.
Allison heard about ME³ and Communities In Action after meeting and volunteering with ME³
Vice President Nic Turza! She became a Communities In Action (CIA) Agent to help other
volunteers find interesting projects (and has been a great help in this area!). One cause
Allison is passionate about is understanding and accepting differences - culture, beliefs,
traditions - and says that we'd live in a better world if we could embrace and celebrate
difference, rather than fear it.
