ME³ is an all-volunteer organization with an all-volunteer Board of Directors and Advisory Board.
|
Amber Smith President
Amber has lived in North Carolina for the majority of her life and is currently a resident of Durham. Amber co-founded ME³ when she noticed that people seemed to want to get involved to help the community but were not sure how to get started, and that many causes could benefit from the help of more volunteers. Before ME³ she volunteered with organizations such as Kiwanis, StandUp for Kids, Hope for the Homeless, and Amnesty International. Amber is currently a graduate student at N.C. State University in the Masters of Public Administration program with a Nonprofit Management focus. Amber one day hopes all individuals will see the potential they have to make a difference, and act to fulfill that potential.

Charlie Chrisawn
Secretary, Fundraising Co-Chair
Charlie Chrisawn has lived in Raleigh all his life. He is a recent graduate from Davidson College, where
he was active in volunteering through his fraternity. He is currently employed by Health Decisions, a
pharmaceutical research company in Chapel Hill. Charlie brings some fundraising experience to the
Board, and has enjoyed both hands-on and administrative varieties of volunteer service in his past.
When not helping the community through ME³, Charlie enjoys watching movies and 'being comical'.
Though he wasn't a huge fan of Woodrow Wilson's presidency, Charlie likes the quote, " I not only use
all the brains that I have, but all that I can borrow."

Tom Zajkowski
Treasurer, Fundraising Co-Chair
Tom is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and also lived in Southern California for five years. He and his
wife, Amy, moved to the Triangle in June 2005 and currently live in North Raleigh. Tom is the Vice
President of Tax and Treasury for Tekelec and brings with him knowledge of accounting and taxes as
well as leadership and volunteer experience with organizations such as United Way, Habitat for
Humanity, and the YMCA. Tom strongly endorses ME³'s philosophy of Volunteerism Education and
hopes to get more people in the Triangle area involved in philanthropic activities.

Sarah Johnson
Vice President and Attorney
Sarah is originally from San Diego, California and has lived in Raleigh since 2004. She currently
practices commercial litigation with Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP, a full service law firm based in
Raleigh. Sarah has served as a Guardian ad Litem in both Forsyth County and Wake County and has a
particular interest in the prevention of the abuse and neglect of children. Sarah also hopes to
encourage other attorneys to make public service a priority and give back to their local communities.

Neville Devlaliwalla
Marketing Chair
Neville was born and grew up in Mumbai (Bombay), India. He has lived in Raleigh for 8 years with his
wife and two children. Neville is a Business Client Relationship Manager with Cisco Systems where he
partners and supports the European and Emerging Markets. Innovation, market transitions, business
development, marketing and PR are some of the things Neville thrives on and brings that expertise to
ME³. Giving back has always been important to him as he volunteered as the VP for a Lions Club with
his father, served food to the homeless over Thanksgiving in Atlanta and introduce his daughter to
giving back through visits to entertain the retirement community. Neville is very passionate about
helping more people embrace volunteering as part of their ongoing lifestyle.
